Homemade Jelly Candies

Ingredients

  • 200 gms 1 cup – granulated sugar plus more for coating
  • 100 ml – 6 ¾ tbsp orange juice
  • 20 ml – 1 1/3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 gms – 0.4 oz. gelatine sheets

Instructions

  1. Put the gelatine sheets in cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix together the orange juice, lemon juice and sugar and let it boil for 2 minutes, then put the fire off.
  3. Squeeze the extra water out of the gelatine sheets and add them into the hot citrus mixture. Stir well to dissolve.
  4. Pour into moulds and refrigerate overnight.
  5. The next day, unmould your jelly candies and coat them with granulated sugar.
  6. Serve.
