Ingredients
2eggs
200gms– 1 cup granulated sugar
60ml– ¼ cup vegetable oil
200gms– 1 ½ cup + 1 tbsp plain flour
100ml– 6 ¾ tbsp milk
16gms– 3 tsp baking powder
1pinchsalt
1tspvanilla extract
150ml– 2/3 cup warm water
Icing sugarto dust
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the eggs, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, flour, milk, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract with a wooden spoon until smooth.
Add the warm water and mix.
Pour into a greased 20cm – 8" round springform pan and bake, in a pre-heated oven, at 180°C – 355°F for 40 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool down, unmould and dust with icing sugar.
