Sweet Potato Mash
Sweet Potato Mash - the perfect side dish to serve with stews on a cold winter night.
– 1 1/3 lbs. sweet potatoes
peeled and chopped
– 2 tbsp butter
½ to 1
Salt to taste
Put the sweet potato in a pot and cover with cold water.
Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until soft.
Drain and return to the pot. Add the butter and mash.
Season with cinnamon and salt to taste.
