Sweet Popcorn Snowballs

How to make Sweet Popcorn Snowballs for our next winter holiday party!

  • 4 quarts popped corn
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups white chocolate
  • 10.5 oz Jaffa or York Pieces – peppermint flavored dark chocolate


  1. Pop the corn kernels (unless you already have popcorn), then sprinkle the popcorn with salt.
  2. Line muffin tins or ramekins with plastic wrap and keep aside.
  3. Melt the butter, marshamallows and chocolate in a large pan over low heat. Cook, stirring until melted.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the popcorn and Jaffas.
  5. Scoop the popcorn into the prepared tins, wrap the plastic around them and shape into balls.
  6. Put the balls in the fridge to set up for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the plastic wrap and store in air tight containers.
