Fried Calamari

How to make crisp Fried Calamari rings at home!

Ingredients

  • 750 gms - 1.65 lbs. Calamari cleaned and cut in rings
  • Flour to coat
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Coat the cut calamari in flour and deep fry them for 1 or 2 minutes (or until golden brown) in hot vegetable oil.
  2. Drain them well on kitchen paper and sprinkle with some sea salt.
  3. Serve warm!

Recipe Notes

Be careful when frying the calamari as they cause the oil to splatter and you can get burnt! I usually fry them in a deep fryer.
