Chorizo en Salsa

Chorizo en Salsa - the recipe for an easy and delicious Spanish tapa!

  • 250 gms – 9 oz.chorizo sausages thickly sliced
  • 400 gms – 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste


  1. Sauté the sliced chorizo on a high flame with the extra virgin olive oil.  When browned on all sides, remove it with a slotted spoon and keep it aside.
  2. Sauté the chopped onions in the same oil.  When translucent, add the tomatoes and salt and mix well.
  3. Add the chorizo back and cook it on a medium flame for 10 or 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  4. Serve warm.
