Fragolino Liqueur

Fragolino Liqueur - how to make a delicious strawberry liqueur at home!

  • 1 kg – 2.2 lbs. strawberries
  • 1 lt – 4 cups alcohol 95% or 151 proof grain alcohol or 1 ¼ lt –  5 cups Vodka
  • 1 lt – 4 cups water
  • 650 gms – 3 ¼ cups granulated sugar


  1. Put the strawberries in a big glass jar and cover them with the alcohol. Close the jar with a tight lid and keep it in a dark place for 30 days.
  2. After the 30 days, make a syrup by mixing the water and sugar and heating until dissolved.  Let the syrup cool down completely.
  3. Filter the strawberry alcohol and mix the alcohol with the cold sugar syrup. Pour into a jar and let it rest in a dark place for another 30 days.
  4. When the 30 days are up, filter it again and bottle it up.
  5. Serve very cold.
