Moroccan Mint Tea

Moroccan Mint Tea - packed with mint flavour, golden and sweet, almost nectar-like.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp green tea leaves gunpowder
  • 5 tsp sugar
  • 12-14 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 sprig of mint per glass to serve

Instructions

  1. Mix the tea and sugar.
  2. Crush the mint leaves in the water and bring to a boil. Pour the hot water over the tea and sugar and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Put a small sprig of mint in two glasses. Strain the tea into the glasses and drink while hot.
