  • 2 lt – 8 cups water
  • 1.2 kg – 6 cups sugar you can also reduce this, if you like a less sweet liqueur
  • 150 gms – 1 ½ cups finely ground coffee
  • 6 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1.25 lt – 5 cups Vodka


  1. Pour the water into a big pot. Add the sugar to it and put the pot on the fire. Stir well until the sugar dissolves, then put the fire off and let the syrup come back to room temperature before proceeding.
  2. Add the Vodka, vanilla extract and coffee to the cold mixture. Stir well and transfer the mixture into glass container.
  3. Keep refrigerated for 3 to 4 weeks, then strain the Coffee and Vanilla Liqueur and bottle it.
  4. You can serve it cold or at room temperature.
