Chicken Tonnato Wrap

Chicken Tonnato Wrap - packed with healthy ingredients and a mayo and tuna based sauce!

Tonnata Sauce

  • 95 gms – 3 1/3 oz. tuna drained
  • 115 gms – 4 oz. Mayo I used fat-free
  • 1 anchovy
  • 1/3 tbsp capers under salt and rinsed
  • Broth or water as required
  • Salt to taste


  • 4 or 5 thin slices of chicken breast
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Carrot grated
  • Mayo I used fat-free
  • 1 wrap I used rye


Tonnata Sauce

  1. Put all the ingredients in a mixer.
  2. Add enough stock or water to make a thick sauce.


  1. Spread some Tonnata Sauce on the wrap.
  2. Put the sliced chicken on one side of the wrap.
  3. Top with lettuce, grated carrot and sliced tomatoes. Drizzle with a little mayo.
  4. Roll the wrap and cut in half.
  5. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

The quantity of Tonnata Sauce, mayo, lettuce and tomatoes is up to your taste.

If you have any Tonnata Sauce left, you can refrigerate it for a couple of days.
