If you follow my blog, you will know that I have recently been operated to remove my gallbladder, as I had gallstones. In the weeks before the surgery, I had to follow a strictly low-fat (fat-free, really!) diet. This Chicken Tonnato Wrap was one of my favourite lunches. It was filling, healthy and satisfying. I took the inspiration from one of my favourite dishes: Vitel Tonne and made a similar sauce to go with this wrap. What is Vitel Tonne? It’s a typical dish from the North of Italy that consists of thinly sliced veal cooked and then served at room temperature with a tuna and mayo sauce. This wrap was so good that I had to share it on the blog! This wrap can also be made with normal mayo and your favourite wrap. I used fat-free or low fat products and it still tasted divine! Buon appetito and enjoy!
