Pesche al Vino

Pesche al Vino - the perfect end of meal dish that can easily substitute dessert as the wine becomes almost a peach flavoured syrup.

  • 1 peach peeled and cut in wedges
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 80 ml – 1/3 cup white wine


  1. Wash the peaches, peel them, then cut them into wedges, discarding the pits
  2. Place the wedges in a jug and sprinkle them with the sugar. Mix gently and allow the peaches to rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Add the white wine and allow the macerated peach wedges to macerate in the fridge for a further 60 minutes.
  4. Put into a glass and serve.
