Strawberry Ghosts with White Chocolate Recipe

Sweet and spooky Strawberry Ghosts combine juicy fresh strawberries, melted white chocolate, and little black icing faces. Enjoy these no-bake Halloween treats at parties and celebrations with family.

Ingredients

  • 150 g – ⅞ cup white chocolate – chopped
  • 12 large fresh strawberries – washed and thoroughly dried
  • Black decorating icing or writing gel – as needed

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with baking paper. Wash the strawberries and pat them completely dry, including around the leaves.

  2. Place the chopped white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water. Make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water. Stir until the chocolate melts and becomes smooth.

    Note: Alternatively, melt the white chocolate in the microwave in short intervals, stirring between intervals until smooth.

  3. Hold a strawberry by its leaves and dip it into the melted white chocolate. Lift it out and let the excess chocolate drip off. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
  4. Place the coated strawberries on the prepared tray, with a small amount of chocolate pooling at the bottom to give them a ghost-like shape.
  5. Allow the chocolate to set completely before drawing two eyes and a mouth with black decorating icing or writing gel. Let the decorations set before serving.
