Cinnamon Apple Chips

How to make Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips - a deliciously healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 of your favorite apples
  • 1 or 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Core the apples and thinly slice them using the smallest setting on a mandoline (be careful of your hands!).  The thinner, the better.
  2. Place the sliced apples on a baking tray covered with baking paper and sprinkle them with the ground cinnamon.
  3. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 90°C – 200°F for 90 minutes, then flip each slice and bake for another 60 or 90 minutes, until the chips are crispy and no longer soft.
  4. Let them cool down and store in an airtight container.

Recipe Notes

If placed in an airtight container, these chips will keep for 4 or 5 days.
