Ingredients

  • ½ lime – cut in wedges
  • 10 mint leaves (preferably yerba buena or spearmint)
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 45 ml white rum
  • 125 ml – ½ cup green tea
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Garnish

  • more mint leaves and 1 slice of lime

Instructions

  1. Brew the green tea, stir in the 2 tablespoons of caster sugar, and set aside to cool completely.

  2. Place the mint leaves and lime wedges in a Mojito glass and gently crush them together to release their juices.

Note: If your muddler does not fit the glass, do this in a separate bowl, then transfer the mixture to the glass.

  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Add the rum, then top up the glass with the cold, sweetened green tea. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Garnish with a slice of lime and extra mint leaves.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.
