Homemade White Chocolate Liqueur Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 g – 9 oz white chocolate – chopped
  • 500 ml – 2 cups milk
  • 500 ml – 2 cups cream
  • 300 ml – 1 ¼ cups condensed milk
  • 150 ml – ¾ cup high-proof alcohol 95% OR 151-proof grain alcohol, OR the strongest available

Instructions

  1. Put the white chocolate and milk in a saucepan and heat gently until the chocolate melts.

  2. Add the cream and condensed milk and cook on low heat for 8 minutes.
  3. Let the mixture cool, then chill it thoroughly in the fridge.
  4. Add the alcohol and mix well, then strain through a sieve and pour into a bottle.
  5. Keep it in the fridge for a couple of days and shake well before serving.

Recipe Notes

This liqueur keeps in the fridge for a couple of months, though it never seems to last that long once made.
