Matcha Ice Cream Recipe (Green Tea Ice Cream)

Ingredients

  • 240 ml – 1 cup cream
  • 240 ml – 1 cup milk
  • 100 g – ½ cup sugar
  • 15 g – 3 tbsp matcha green tea powder
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Put the cream, milk, green tea or matcha powder, sugar, and salt into a saucepan and whisk until well combined.

  2. Heat the mixture until it reaches a full boil, whisking continuously. Once it begins to foam, remove it from the heat.
  3. Pour mixture into a large bowl and allow it to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate until completely chilled.
  4. Churn in an ice cream maker for 20 to 25 minutes, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 3 hours before serving.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
