Ingredients
Ingedients
400ml– 1 2/3 cups heavy cream
500ml– 2 cups whole milk
160gms– ¾ cup granulated sugar
2tspvanilla extract
Instructions
Heat the milk and sugar in a pot until the mixture reaches 80°C – 176°F. Chill.
Add the cream and vanilla and mix well.
Churn it in your ice cream maker for 20 to 30 minutes or according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
When ready, transfer to a container, cover it and put it in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.
If you do not have an ice cream maker, you can pour the mixture in a container, put some cling wrap on the top (it has to actually be in contact with the ice cream) to seal it completely and then cover it with a lid. This should prevent crystallization.
