Sweet Potato Mash

Ingredients

  • 600 g – 1 1/3 lbs sweet potatoes – peeled and chopped
  • 30 g – 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ to 1 tsp cinnamon – to taste
  • salt – to taste

Instructions

  1. Put the sweet potato in a pot and cover with cold water.
  2. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until soft.
    Sweet potato pieces simmering in a pot of water on the stove.
  3. Drain and return to the pot. Add the butter and mash.
  4. Season with cinnamon and salt to taste.
  5. Serve warm.
