AWARDS GALORE!

April 4, 2011 Last updated on January 10, 2014 By Manu 20 Comments

When I checked my blog this morning I found a comment from my fellow food blogger Priyanka from BUON APPETITO telling me that there was an award waiting for me in her blog.  That immediately put a smile on my face… who doesn’t like to receive an award?  So I went to check it out and guess what I found out?  She hasn’t only honoured me with ONE award… she has passed on 9 awards to Manu’s Menu!  How fantastic is that?  I feel so happy!  Priyanka dear, you really made my day!  You know I love your blog, don’t you? 🙂  Thank you so very much!

The last few days have been very busy for me.  I had some friends over on 2 different occasions, so I had a bit of “real” cooking to do (something we all love!).  At the same time I was involved in the Online Bake Sale for Japan hosted by The Tomato Tart that raised $8,269 for Second Harvest Japan, which was such an amazing experience.  I felt so much love during the last few days that I am so glad to be able to pass on some of that love and positive energy to some of the food bloggers I love the most!  It is hard to choose only 15… but here it goes… I am passing on these lovely awards to:

Begoña from Aroma y Cocina

Dimah from Orange Blossom Water

Elyse from The Cultural Dish

Eugene from Food & Scent

Fiona from Nuts about Food

Hester from Alchemy in the Kitchen

Jill from Mad about Macarons

Kankana from Sunshine and Smile

Lizzy from That Skinny Chick Can Bake!!!

Paola from An Italian cooking in the Midwest

Paolo from Quatro Fromaggio

Sandra from Sandra’s Easy Cooking

Tiffany from Como Water

Tina from Pinay Cooking Corner

Visda from Eat, Drink and Just Be!

Enjoy!!!

And thank you so much once again Priyanka from BUON APPETITO!

Manu, congratulations for the awards and thanks for sharing them also with me, among so many talented bloggers. Truly an honor, thanks!

Sorry it took me so long, I finally managed to setup a page where to accept the award and pass it on to some of my favorite bloggers 🙂 I picked one as a representative… All nine were too much for me!

Wow! Manu, what a galore of awards! Congratulations, my friend. And what can I say? You know how to cheer someone up beyond belief! Thank you so much for passing them on like this. I’m bowled over and especially flattered, coming from you! Like Hester, I know of many fellow bloggers and enjoy reading them so much and it’s wonderful to also be introduced to new ones. You don’t write anything about yourself? 7 things? Go on… 😉
Grazie mille, Manu! This is the best ever Monday I can remember. xxoo

Hi Manu, Congratulations on your shower of awards (thoroughly deserved) and thanks for sharing the glory. The thing I love most about awards is that you get to see who your fellow revered bloggers are reading. I’ve been over to visit Buen Appetito. I already know some on your list and follow them regularly but you’ve introduced me to loads more and I’m really looking forward to reading their blogs. I know a recommendation from Manu is worth following up.

It's a simple way to add extra flavour to everyday ingredients and works especially well with eggs, tomatoes, roasted vegetables, potatoes, chicken, and soups.

Once you start paying attention to these steps, it becomes much easier to get a smoother, more balanced matcha at home 🍵
