When I first saw this Baby Guinness cocktail over at Creative Culinary, I actually though it was beer! And when I realised that it actually wasn’t beer, I just couldn’t take my eyes off of it. This Baby Guinness is such a clever idea! And such an easy drink too. Besides, it uses my two favourite liqueurs ever: Baileys and Kahlua. So, I just had to give it a go. The trickiest part was to find a glass that would contribute to the looks. Make sure your liqueurs are chilled before preparing this drink, as it makes a huge difference in flavour. Cheers! Sláinte!

Baby Guinness
Baby Guinness - a fun cocktail idea made with Baileys and Kahlua!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 60 ml – 2 oz. Kahlua chilled
- 30 ml – 1 oz. Baileys Irish Cream chilled
Instructions
-
Fill a shot glass 2/3 full with Kahlua.

Pour the Irish cream over the back of a spoon. It will layer on top of the Kahlua and form the head that makes this cocktail look like Guinness.
Absolutely adorable! I’ll bookmark this for the cooler winter months, it’ll be a perfect holiday drink.
At first I thought it was beer as well :)! Never tasted kahlua – what does it taste like?
When my daughter first told me I ‘had’ to put this on my blog and showed me a photo; of course I thought the same, that it was just an itty bitty glass of beer!
I do love Guinness but love this as well…glad you enjoyed it too!
