During our 3 week stay in Cividale del Friuli, we were lucky enough to be able to visit the surrounding areas with our rental car. A great outing is to go visit the Friuli Eastern Hills around the town that are dotted with beautiful vineyards.

I am so happy to be able to share the recipe for Torrontes Ice Cream on the blog. Torrontes is a white wine quality, typical from the north of Argentina. So, yes… it’s white wine ice cream! And it tastes amazing!
Cafayate Guide – Argentina
During our trip to Chile and Argentina, we travelled from Salta to Cafayate by car, stopping along the way in Cachi and Molinos. Cafayate is the unofficial capital of the Calchaquíes Valley. The town is also at the heart of a large wine-producing region, which comes second only to Mendoza.

Strawberries in White Wine
Today I am going to share with you a very quick and easy end of meal recipe: Strawberries in White Wine. This recipe is similar to the Peaches in Wine recipe I have already shared with you and, just like it, this too can easily substitute dessert, as the wine becomes almost a strawberry flavoured…
Pesche al Vino

Our May 2012 Daring Cooks’ hostess was Fabi of fabsfood. Fabi challenged us to make Boeuf Bourguignon, a classic French stew originating from the Burgundy region of France. The last time I have eaten bœuf bourguignon I was in Paris… 10 years ago. I remember it so well, it feels like yesterday. My husband and…
SPAGHETTI WITH CHERRY TOMATOES AND ANCHOVIES
Yes! Finally I get to share with you a spaghetti recipe! Strangely enough, I seldom do… I think it must be because for an Italian, spaghetti are a staple and I tend to forget how delicious they are. This is a very simple yet delicious recipe for one of the tastiest spaghetti sauces ever. Like…
