It is time again for the “Secret recipe club” reveal! I am sure you all know what the club is about, but for the few of you who still don’t know about it, here goes a brief explanation. It is a great concept… each month you are assigned a participating food blogger to make a recipe from and in turn someone else will be assigned your blog. All you have to do is choose a recipe, make it and blog about it on the specified date. The only rule is to keep it a secret! If you are interested in learning more, or want to join the club, please visit the Secret recipe club website.
I was very excited to find out that the blog I got assigned this month was Debbi’s Debbie Does Dinner. Besides being an amazing cook, Debbi is our group hostess. She is very friendly and helpful and I couldn’t wait to try one of her recipes. It’s been pretty cold here in Sydney these past few days… so when I saw her Pumpkin Pie White Hot Chocolate, I immediately knew that was THE recipe I wanted to try. I must admit I had never had white hot chocolate, let alone with pumpkin in it, so I was really intrigued. It was delicious. Silky, smooth and so comforting. If you are worried that it may be too sweet, don’t. It wasn’t. Even though white chocolate is definitely the sweetest of all chocolate, there’s no sugar in this recipe and the spices do a fantastic job in balancing out any extra sweetness. I will definitely be making this again!
Thank you so much for such a great recipe and for all your hard work as group C hostess Debbi!
