Here I am, back with another recipe for home-made liqueur! And this time it uses strawberries. In fact, the name Fragolino comes from the Italian word fragola, which means strawberry. This is a typical Italian recipe and many people make it at home. As it is spring time in the Northern hemisphere and I have just come back from Europe where we had some delicious strawberries, I had to share this now! I love the sweet strawberry taste of this liqueur… not to mention the beautiful intense pink colour! The recipe itself is very easy, but it does require a 60 day “resting time”, so keep that in mind if you need it for a specific date! Enjoy! Cheers!
