As you know, it would be easier for me to give up sweets (including chocolate!) than cheese! I am an absolute cheeseaholic… And I like all of them. Obviously, I do have my preferences and you also know that Gorgonzola is my all time favourite cheese. I like strong flavoured cheeses in general and feta is one of them. As I like them strong, I prefer sheep’s milk feta… but you can use your favourite kind. My mum used to buy marinated feta in jars at the supermarket, until she realised that making it at home was much easier and, above all, you could flavour it to your liking. Today’s recipe is my version of marinated feta and it has all the Mediterranean aromas that I like so much. It is a very simple recipe, but it makes for an awesome appetiser. Serve it on some crusty bread, drizzled with its own extra virgin olive oil and herbs and enjoy!
