If you follow me on Facebook, you will know that this year we hosted a little New Year’s Eve party at our place. We had a Spanish theme. And this Chorizo in Salsa was one of the dishes I served!
We started off with some Pineapple Mojitos, and then we had Sangria
And a few tapas: Stuffed Mushrooms, Smoked Salmon, this Chorizo en Salsa, Manchego, Jamon Serrano, salami-style Chorizo, Oysters, Gambas al Ajillo
Then, one of my friends brought Potato Tortilla, Salt Cod Brandade, and Mushrooms Escabeche
As a main dish, we had a Mixed Paella
We finished off with 2 desserts: Chocolate Mousse
And Crema Catalana.
I know, it sounds like A LOT of food and… it was! We had a blast, and it was a delicious way to celebrate the new year.
I am going to share a few new recipes I tried for the occasion… the ones we liked the most. Today, I will start with this tasty tapa, a very easy one to make and a crowd pleaser: Chorizo en Salsa.

Buen Provecho!
