Can you believe that I had never made chocolate bark before?? I know, so weird, especially considering that I am a chocoholic! In my defence, I must say that it is not something we usually make in Italy. For Christmas, we mostly make nougat. But bark is so good, so versatile and, let’s face it, so much easier to make than nougat, that I think I found a new Christmas favourite! This year, I made white chocolate bark with lime zest and macadamia nuts. It was amazing. I love the white chocolate and lime combo, and macadamia nuts are always delicious. In Australia we are very lucky to have amazing local macadamia nuts, so I am always happy to use them. This bark was part of this year’s Christmas hamper. Enjoy!
