I am really excited about sharing my recipe for this Low Fodmap Pesto with you today.
If you are following the Low Fodmap diet, you will know that garlic is a no-no! However, we can safely have garlic-infused olive oil and this is a lifesaver, especially for me! This makes adapting Italian recipes a lot easier!
I love pesto, it is one of my most favourite pasta sauces ever! So I am extremely happy that I was able to easily adapt it for the Low Fodmap diet. This version tastes just like the original and I can have it without issues. Yay!
You can serve it with your favourite Low Fodmap pasta, but I prefer to use mine on Low Fodmap gnocchi. This sauce can also be used as a dressing. Try and toss it through some warm boiled or roasted potatoes for example.
If you don’t need to follow the Low Fodmap diet, you can make the normal version too and you can find my recipe here.
Enjoy and don’t forget to check out my video recipe and to leave a comment in the section below to let me know how you like it!
