Today’s post is a very simple recipe: Roquefort and Fig Spelt Crostini. It came about by matching a few leftovers I had in my pantry and as it worked really well, I thought of sharing it with all of you here on the blog. Blue cheese, figs and honey always work well together but the spelt and hazelnut bread takes this combination to a whole new level as it adds some crunch and a delicious depth of flavour. The drizzle of honey completes rounds up all the flavours. I personally love it! Enjoy and let me know what you think!
