There are times when only a chocolate brownie can satisfy your craving for sweets. As I am much more careful about what I eat since starting the low FODMAP diet, I am not having as many sweets as I used to.
I am slowly learning about serving sizes and foods that are allowed freely or only up to a certain quantity. You will be happy to know that dark chocolate is in fact allowed up to 30 grams (1 oz.) per serving!
Soooo, I just had to bake myself some Low Fodmap Macadamia Brownies. This is such an amazing recipe and it is so easy to make, that my 8-year-old daughter often makes it by herself! Yes, she loves these brownies just as much as I do! And what’s there not to like?? They are moist, chocolatey, sweet, and crunchy! Perfection!
This recipe makes 12 brownies. I usually only have 1, but I think you can have up to 2 and still stay within the limits. These brownies are also gluten free and dairy free. Remember to check out my video recipe and to leave a comment to let me know how you like them!
